"The original concept for Peach came about through a humours quip from a friend during a conversation about me making new music. Knowing my proclivity for seeking influence from macabre reference points, he said 'can't you make something a bit lighter?' Interpreting this in my own way, I started exploring the darker sides of otherwise 'lighter' sources, for example cartoon violence, malfunctioning talking Elmo teddies, children purporting demonic possession, toy weapons etc. This idea is also referenced in the title, Peach being a rather pretty word, that juxtaposes the jarring sound of the project."
